Watt max bicycle testThis is a special version of the watt max bicycle test aimed at children between 7 and 15 years.

The Watt-max test for children is a maximal test conducted on a bicycle ergometer.

1. Start on a workload of 25 watt and increase with 25 watt every 3rd minute.
2. Continue untill the workload can no longe be maintained or cadence drops below 30 RPM.
3. Note the highest workload reached and how many seconds you managed on this workload.

The test is validated on children between 9 and 15 years, but children og age 7 and 8 could also be testet if they have they height and skills to use a bicycle ergometer.

For children with a body weight lower than 30 kg / 60 lbs you should use an increase in workload of 20 watt every 3rd minute instead of 25 watt.
